New York Announces Plan to Reopen Movie Theaters

On Saturday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that theaters in the state, except those in New York City itself, can reopen at 25 percent capacity on Friday, October 23, with a maximum of 50 people per screen.

The New York Post notes that “he limited the reopenings to counties outside of New York City, including Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester, with low coronavirus infection rates and no hot zones.”
