Michael Avenatti Released From Jail due to COVID-19 Threat

Attorney Michael Avenatti has been released from a New York City federal jail due to coronavirus fears.

Avenatti, who has been in quarantine for the past 14 days to ensure he doesn’t show signs of COVID-19, will be out on a temporary release while the outbreak continues.

His attorney had previously told the court that Avenatti was at a higher risk of contracting the illness due to having pneumonia six months ago.
