Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ) has announced that a staff member in his Washington, D.C. office has tested positive for COVID19 coronavirus.
In a statement released Sunday afternoon, Schweikert said that the staffer is resting comfortably at home.
His D.C. office will be closed “until further notice,” and staff members will work from home.
Schweikert also has announced that staffers in his Scottsdale, Arizona, office will also work remotely until further notice.
He concluded his statement by announcing that he had interacted with the employee, so he will be “working from home until otherwise told by doctors.”
