An explosion at a high school in Klein, Texas, has prompted an evacuation Tuesday afternoon, KPRC-TV reports.
Officials say that a firework explosion in the school’s cafeteria prompted the evacuation, possibly injuring at least one person.
School officials say that all students and staff are safe, but they are urging people to stay away from the campus at this time.
“Do NOT come to the campus,” a tweet from the Klein Independent School District read. “Buses are being sent to Klein Forest High School early. School is dismissed and no one will return to the building today.”
