Former NFL quarterback and college football star Trevone Boykin has been arrested in Tarrant County, Texas, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Boykin, who starred at TCU from 2012 – 2015, was reportedly arrested Monday on two misdemeanor theft charges. He has reportedly yet to post bond and remains in custody.
The charge is reportedly related to Boykin not paying a hotel for a night’s stay on October 29th, allegedly using an alias when checking in.
He also faces three other charges, stemming from a pending domestic violence case in the county, with the bonds from those charges totaling $100,000.
Boykin only played two season with the Seattle Seahawks before they released him due to various legal issues.
