A widespread power outage has been reported in Mercer County, Ohio, according to the Dayton Daily News.
According to DP&L, over 6,000 people are without power in the county Tuesday afternoon as winter weather moves through the area. Officials say crews are responding to a substation issue, which appears to have been the cause of the outage.
In addition to the thousands of people in Mercer County, hundreds of residents in Shelby and Montgomery Counties are also without power.
A timetable for the restoration of power has not been given.
