UPDATE: WDAF-TV reports that two people have died following the crash, which occurred east of the airport. Officials have still yet to confirm the total number of people that were onboard.
A plane has crashed in Johnson County, Kansas, on Tuesday, KMBC-TV reports.
The small aircraft reportedly crashed at the Johnson County Executive Airport. Crews are currently at the scene putting out flames coming from the crash site.
It is unclear how many people were onboard at the time or if anyone on the ground was hit.
