Multiple agencies are reporting to the scene of a reported explosion at the Beechcraft aviation plant in Wichita, Kansas.
The explosion happened around 8 a.m. Several people in east Wichita reported feeling and hearing the explosion. Emergency crews said the explosion injured and hospitalized at least 11 people. They treated four others at the scene.
The Wichita Fire Department reports that there are multiple patients with injuries. Emergency medical services are calling it a level one “mass casualty incident.” Hazmat teams have also been deployed.
