U.S. Spy Planes Fly Over North Korea After ‘Christmas Gift’ Missile Threat

The United States flew four surveillance planes over the Korean Peninsula this week after North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un said he had a “Christmas gift” for President Trump, which could be interpreted as the testing of a long-range missile.

Four American aircraft carried out missions over North Korea between Tuesday and early Wednesday, the Yonhap News Agency reported Wednesday morning.

So many American surveillance planes rarely conduct missions around the same time, an indication that the U.S. is taking the situation seriously.
