BREAKING: Michigan Attorney General Suspends Investigation Into Michigan State University’s Handling of the Larry Nassar Sex Abuse Case

Michigan’s attorney general has suspended the state’s investigation of Michigan State University over their handling of the Larry Nassar sex abuse case, WEYI-TV reports.

Attorney General Dana Nessel has suspended the nearly two-year-long investigation, which has resulted in charges against three former school officials.

It is unclear if the investigation will resume at some point.

Investigators have stated that they want the university to waive attorney-client privilege on more than 6,000 documents, and that they want to interview former interim president John Engler.
