NBC Sports has suspended former NHL player and analyst Jeremy Roenick due to workplace misconduct, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Roenick was suspended over comments he allegedly made about a coworker while on a podcast. In the podcast, he reportedly suggested that he wanted to sleep with fellow hosts Kathryn Tappen and Patrick Sharp.
“I play it off like we’re going to bed together every night, the three of us,” he said of his wife and Tappen, according to the Tribune. “If it really came to fruition, that would really be good, but it’s never going to happen.”
Roenick joined NBC Sports in 2010 after playing hockey for several decades, including for the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers.
