Dozens Indicted by Grand Jury in Massive Atlanta Child Sex Sting

Atlanta officials say that dozens of people have been indicted in a massive child sex sting stemming from raids during the Super Bowl, WXIA-TV reports.

Police in Atlanta say that 24 people have been indicted in “Operation Interception,” which sought to crack down on child sex trafficking during this year’s Super Bowl in Atlanta.

The indictments, which were announced last week, charge the defendants with at least one count of utilizing an electronic device to seduce, solicit, or entice a child.

The charges stem from a five-day undercover operation based in Brookhaven that began January 30th, spanning the course of Super Bowl weekend, held in Atlanta.
