Police say that one person is dead and two others were hurt in a shooting at an assisted living complex in Rhode Island, ABC News reports.
The suspect, 66-year-old man who lived at the assisted subsidized housing complex, was found dead at the scene from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
The woman who was killed in the shooting was 47-year-old employee. One of the injured employees is in “extremely critical condition,” while the other is stable.
Police are still looking into why the suspect opened fire inside the complex.
