BREAKING: Shooting Reported at a Mall in Oklahoma City

UPDATE 4: The suspect in the shooting has been described as a black male wearing grey sweatpants, red, exposed underwear and no shirt. He was last seen fleeing from area around Foot Locker.


UPDATE 3: The Oklahoma City Thunder were reportedly inside of the mall at the time of the shooting, but were safely evacuated, per KFOR-TV. The mall will remain closed for the rest of the night and reopen tomorrow.


UPDATE 2: Oklahoma City Police say that one victim has been located inside of the mall following the shooting. They say it appears to have been “a disturbance between individuals.” The victim was shot in the chest and is currently in critical condition.

Police have not provided any information on the suspect and are still working to clear the mall. They are also still searching for the suspect, per KOKH-TV.


UPDATE: KFOR-TV reports that a SWAT team and OKC Police have entered the mall.

A firetruck has been brought to allow roof access for the SWAT team. Evacuations are still ongoing, per KFOR-TV.


Police are responding to reports of shots fired at a mall in Oklahoma City, KOKH-TV reports.

The reports of shots fired came from the Penn Square Mall, according to KFOR-TV. Evacuations are reportedly underway. Police have not confirmed any shots fired at this time, but a heavy police presence has been seen at the mall.

Officers armed with rifles have reportedly been seen walking in the mall’s parking lot.
