The Polk County Sheriff’s Office say they are on scene of an “active investigation” at Camp Dodge in Iowa, WOI-DT reports.
The sheriff’s office says that they were called to the military installation due to reports of an “active situation” at Camp Dodge.
An investigation is ongoing. All schools in the town of Johnston have been placed on lockdown.
Camp Dodge is a military installation in Johnston, Iowa, that also serves as the headquarters for the Iowa National Guard.
