Jeffrey Epstein was “quietly” funding the PBS television show “Closer to Truth,” according to CNBC.
The creator of the program says that Epstein had committed to spending $1.4 million to entirely fund the program. The money was coming from Epstein’s nonprofit organization.
Last year, in 2018, a $500,000 check was sent by Epstein to fund episodes of the program, as well as a $150,000 donation in 2017.
CNBC notes that “The project has yet to be completed and lacks funding in the wake of Epstein’s death.”
The “Closer to Truth” program was a show set to help viewers “gain a better understanding of the human experience.” The show was set to focus on math and science.
