A total of seven additional women have accused legendary actor Cuba Gooding Jr. of sexual assault, prosecutors in New York City have announced, according to NBC News.
Gooding is currently facing three counts of forcible touching and three counts of sexual abuse, and prosecutors have filed the motion to indicate that the new allegations have been reported.
This comes after a dozen other women filed similar allegations in an October filing by prosecutors.
Prosecutors are attempting to use the new accusations as evidence against Gooding in a future trial.
In a statement, Gooding’s lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, said, “”ancient and outdated and lacking in details.”
“Cuba Gooding, Jr. has and does deny all allegations of criminal conduct — unfortunately, people come out of the woodwork, making false allegations against Cuba.”
