Officials in Brazil say that three people have been arrested after home-made bombs detonated inside a soccer stadium, AP reports.
The bombs were detonated at Mineirão Stadium as soccer club Cruzeiro was being relegated to the second division for the first time in the club’s history.
Officials say that three people were arrested for the explosions, which happened a day after the game. Several others are being sought for damage done to the seating of the stadium.
Police add that 13 people were injured in violence inside and outside the stadium following Cruzeiro’s loss. The club’s relegation is the first in their 98 year history.
