A substitute teacher in Wisconsin has been arrested after being accused of sexually assaulting a child, WBAY-TV reports.
The 27-year-old substitute, whose name was not given, was arrested Tuesday as the result of a weeks-long investigation. The man worked as a sub in the Menasha Joint School District.
Officials say that they are not certain if there were any other victims involved, but that their investigation is still ongoing in conjunction with multiple other law enforcement agencies.
Police and school officials say they have worked with the state Department of Public Instruction to “suspend the suspect’s ability to have contact with a child in any school in Wisconsin.”
