A high school wrestling coach in San Jose, California, has been arrested for reportedly engaging in inappropriate acts with a child, KTVU-TV reports.
Bruce Shelton, a 2016 California Wrestling Hall of Fame Lifetime Service Award recipient, was arrested by San Jose police on Tuesday.
Shelton, who worked at Oak Grove High School for 37 years, retired in 2017. However, he remained as a “walk-on coach” at the high school. He has since been removed from that position.
Further details into the incident, or if there were more victims, have not been disclosed by officials.
