A Russian commercial pilot died during a flight from Moscow earlier this week after suffering a heart attack in the cockpit, WTSP-TV reports.
During the flight from Moscow to a resort town on the Black Sea, the 49-year-old pilot reportedly suffered a heart attack, forcing an emergency landing. A flight attendant also the cabin in hopes to find a doctor, but none were on the Aeroflot flight.
Crews signaled to get medical attention upon landing, but he was pronounced dead shortly after landing. The Airbus 320 pilot had reportedly cleared his pre-flight physical, but had reported feeling unwell.
