Police in Independence, Missouri, say that over 20 people have been arrested as part of a human trafficking sting, KVTV reports.
The Independence Police Department says that 21 people were arrested as a result of the operation, which was conducted on November 13th and 14th.
Of the 21 total arrests, 13 were charged with prostitution, and two of them with federal human trafficking. 34 criminal charges were filed in the arrests.
The investigation was also done in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security.
