Arizona Couple Arrested After Allegedly Abusing Their Adopted Children, Zip Tying Them and Refusing to Feed Them

A couple from Surprise, Arizona, have been arrested for allegedly abusing their adopted children, KNXV-TV reports.

Lee Steven Brady, 58, and his wife Tammie Lyn Brady, 49, have been accused of abusing their adopted son and daughter while living in Surprise.

According to court documents, the Bradys have had their children removed from their custody twice, once in 2016 and then again this year.

In the most recent incident, witnesses say that they saw the two abusing their children while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. One of the victims, a girl who suffers from spina bifida and requires the use of a wheelchair or leg braces, told investigators that Tammie would leave her outside often and make her go days without eating.

Lee Brady has been charged with child abuse and child endangerment, while Tammie Brady is charged with  child abuse, aggravated assault, endangerment, and kidnapping.
