Over $1 Million Worth of Marijuana Seized in Louisiana Drug Bust

Officials in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, say that they have seized $1.27 million worth of marijuana at a business, the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Police say that three people were arrested in the drug bust, which led to the seizure of 345 pounds of marijuana from a business in Old Jefferson.

The approximately $1.27 million worth of marijuana was discovered inside of a shipping container at the business, as well as inside a home in the town of Harvey.

Charles Angell, 53, and Theresa Beasley, 50, and Walter Fea, 41, have all been arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
