Officials in Tampa, Florida, say that over 100 people have been arrested in a human trafficking sting operation, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The operation, dubbed “Operation Trade Secrets II,” was conducted by police in the Tampa-area between June and early November, netting 104 arrests.
The operation targeted human trafficking in the area, specifically going after buyers on websites and forums known for soliciting sex. Strip clubs, massage parlors, and motels were also target for officials.
The first phase of “Operation Trade Secrets” was conducted from January to June, netting 85 arrests.
