BREAKING: Washington Teacher Accused of Threatening to Shoot Students

A teacher at a high school in Puallup, Washington, has been arrested after they reportedly threatened to shoot students, KIRO-TV reports.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that the 58-year-old female teacher, who has not been identified, made threats to shoot students at Emerald Ridge High School.

Law enforcement officials say that she was arrested at her home this morning, but no weapons were located.

The threat in question was reportedly made in a statement to a case worker and deputies, but it is unclear what the specific threat was or how many students may have been mentioned.
