Several Human Trafficking Victims Rescued at Philippine Airport 

Officials say that they have rescued several human trafficking victims at a Philippine airport.

The Philippine Bureau of Immigration says that five people believed to be human trafficking victims were rescued at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. The victims were reportedly about to board their flights to Macau and Hong Kong, on the way to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) where they were hired supposedly as household service workers and waitresses.

Several weeks ago, 17 suspected trafficking victims were also rescued at MCIA and were also boarding to Macau and Hong Kong.
