UPDATE: CBS Philadelphia reports that a suspect has been taken into custody following a standoff. No injuries occurred in the incident.
Police in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, say that they are responding to reports of an active shooter near a residence.
Police are currently responding to the active shooter call near East and Court Streets in the city. Officials say that they have contained the situation to a home, adding that a special response team and SWAT team are currently being called to the scene. WTXF-TV reports that the suspect is currently firing shots out of the home, where they are barricaded. Neighbors have been urged to shelter-in-place.
It is unclear if there are any injuries at this time.
