Penn State University says that they are investigating new allegations of abuse against former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.
In 2012, Sandusky was convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys over a period of at least 15 years, and was sentenced to at least 30 years in prison. However, a new incident report alleges that Sandusky may have sexually assaulted a visitor at the university, as well as listing two counts of rape and two other counts of “sex offenses.”
“This incident report is the result of the University’s internal and external reporting procedures upon receipt of a new allegation of abuse by Jerry Sandusky,” university spokesperson DuBois said in a statement. “An investigation is ongoing and we have no further comment.”
