A convicted child sex abuser known as “The Candyman” has reportedly died inside an Oregon prison.
Carl Hagnas, 70, died inside the Snake River Correctional Institution in Eastern Oregon. In January, he pleaded no contest to two counts of sex abuse and one count of sodomy as part of a plea deal. Two of his victims were abused in 2015, while another incident with a third victim occurred in the 1990s.
Hagnas was known as the “Candyman” for treats he handed out to children.
