Georgia Woman Arrested After $18,000 in Stolen Property Found Inside Home

An Opelika, Georgia, woman has been arrested after $18,000 in stolen property was found inside her home.

Bobbie Gene Smart, 69, is charged with three counts of first-degree receiving stolen property. Investigators conducting a search warrant at her home found the stolen goods, which included a Crownlite ski boat, two Polaris ATVs, a Honda Rancher ATV, a utility trailer, a Spartan enclosed trailer, and a Black Max weed eater.

Investigators have determined the property to have been stolen from jurisdictions to include the Columbus Police Department, Camp Hill Police Department, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
