AT least one person has been shot in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, according to FOX Indy.
The shooting occurred at around 8:30 p.m. Friday evening on Monument Circle. Police arrived to find a 14-year-old male who had been shot, local media reports.
A 16-year-old has been taken into custody in the shooting.
WISH-TV reports, “Maj. Harold Turner with IMPD said a 16-year-old was apprehended with two guns after the shooting, which also led a car with windows shot out in its wake. Aggravated assault detectives were called to investigate two scenes, one on Monument Circle and another in the first block of South Meridian Street. The circumstances behind the shooting were not immediately available.”
The victim is in stable condition.
