A man on a Southwest Airlines flight from Dallas to Los Angeles caused the flight to divert to Tucson, Arizona, after he reportedly assaulted passengers.
David Broseh, 51, caused the plane’s captain to divert the flight so that he could be removed from the aircraft and taken into custody. It is unclear what caused the man to begin attacking others, but two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of assault.
Southwest Airlines said in a statement, “The flight landed safely at TUC and continued onward to LAX after the brief diversion. The safety of our customers and crew is always our top priority, so we appreciate the patience of our customers during the event.”
