Police in Tucson, Arizona, say they are investigating a suspicious package that was left near the office of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick.
It is unclear where exactly the package was found or the nature of the package, but police have confirmed that they are investigating. Early reports indicated that the office had been evacuated, but a staffer reportedly stated that they have only moved to a different area of the office, away from the scene.
We will provide more information as it becomes available.
Update: A @RepKirkpatrick staffer says staffers in Tucson have not been evacuated, they have been asked to move to a different portion of the office away from the package.
