An Arkansas woman was arrested on drug charges after she reportedly told police that her brother fed her a meth sandwich.
A Hot Springs police officer was reportedly on patrol when he noticed a car pull out of a parking lot without headlights on. During the ensuing traffic stop, the officer noticed the smell of marijuana and that Elizabeth Marie Catlett, 29, was acting strangely.
In her front pocket, police found a small plastic-wrapped bag that had small scraps of paper, a straw cut into a smaller length, and several plastic bags. Calett claimed it was not hers. As Catlett was being read her Miranda Rights, she told police that if she “pops hot” it was because her brother fed her a sandwich that contained methamphetamine.
