BREAKING: PG&E Shuts Off Power For Over 10,000 People

BREAKING: PG&E announces they will shut off power to over 10,000 people in northern California beginning tonight at 10 p.m. amid increased fire danger. It is unknown when power will be restored – KCRA-TV

The power will be turned off for:

  • Butte County: 10,235 customers in Berry Creek, Brush Creek, Butte Meadows, Butte Valley, Challenge, Chico, Cohasset, Feather Falls, Forbestown, Forest Ranch, Magalia, Oroville, Paradise, Paradise Pines, Pulga, Stirling City, Yankee Hill
  • Plumas County: 4 customers in Storrie
  • Yuba County: 89 customers in Brownsville, Challenge, Dobbins, Forbestown

A resource center will be set up throughout the day on Sunday to allow residents to charge devices and use porta potties.
