Former NFL Player Dies

Former Baltimore Colts linebacker Ed Simonini has reportedly died at age 65 following a battle with cancer.

Simonini, who was a unanimous All-American for Texas A&M in 1975, was selected by the Colts in the third round of the 1976 draft. He played seven NFL seasons in his career, six of which were in Baltimore.

Simonini led the team in tackles four times in his career, with his last season coming in 1982 with the New Orleans Saints.
