Senator Bernie Sanders’ Burlington, Vermont, office has been evacuated due to a “suspicious package.”
The office was evacuated by Burlington Police out of an abundance of caution, according to the department. The Vermont State Police are currently evaluating the package and assisting with its removal. It is unclear the nature of the package.
