Former College Football Star Dies

Former Ole Miss and Texas quarterback Jevan Snead has died at the age of 32.

Snead, who was first with Texas before transferring to Ole Miss, was found dead in downtown Austin, Texas, this weekend. Officials say that they do not believe the death to be suspicious, but did not say how Snead died.

Snead took Ole Miss to the Cotton Bowl in 2008 and 2009, winning both seasons. In 2008, Ole Miss also beat eventual national champion Florida and finished the season on a six-game winning streak.

Snead passed for 5,394 yards and 46 touchdowns at Ole Miss. Both rank in the top 10 in school history.
