A heavy police presence has been reported at a high school in Rosemead, California, after concerns about a possible gunman.
Police reportedly responded to the area after receiving calls about an individual with a gun at a home in the area. That person reportedly had connections to the school, which prompted the officers’ presence. Students were seen being corralled by officers, but have since been seen leaving the school freely.
The home where the call originated was searched, and no victims were found, according to fire department officials. It is unclear how long police will remain at the scene.
