A Utah man has been arrested after police say they found a “large amount” of child pornography in his possession.
Jared Kenji Motogawa, 36, was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a minor. Police say that they began investigating the man after a Utah Attorney General’s Office agent working undercover came across an IP address of a computer in Utah that was being used to share a file containing child pornography on July 29th. Motogawa told authorities that he used a person-to-person program to download child pornography and said there was child pornography on his laptop and cellphone.
Motogawa is currently held on $100,000 bail.
