BREAKING: Singer R.Kelly Moved to General Population in Chicago Federal Jail

Singer R.Kelly has reportedly been moved out of solitary confinement and into general population at the Chicago federal jail he is being held in.

Kelly’s lawyer had petitioned for the singer to be removed from solitary, claiming it to only have been done as a form of punishment by prison officials. His lawyer says that Kelly had not done anything wrong while in the prison to have been placed alone.

State prosecutors reportedly claim that Kelly’s desire to move to general population is recent and seemingly out of nowhere, as they say he asked to be removed and put in a secluded wing of the prison called the SHU with no cellmates at first.
