Legendary Movie Animator Dies

Legendary movie animator Richard Williams has reportedly died at the age of 86.

Williams, who was known for his animation work on the films “Pink Panther” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” reportedly died following a battle with cancer. During his 50 years in the industry, Williams won three Oscars, three British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards and more than 250 other international awards.

Williams’ other work was featured in the movies “The Return of the Pink Panther,” “The Pink Panther Strikes Again,” and 1967’s “Casino Royale,” as well as in the 1971 TV short “A Christmas Carol.”
