Indiana Lawmaker Arrested

Indiana State Representative Dan Forestal has reportedly been arrested and charged after he attempted to buy cocaine and impersonated a police officer.

Forestal was arrested and charged with drunken driving and impersonating a police officer after he reportedly tried to buy cocaine at a bar in Marion County, Indiana. He is accused of telling residents that he was conducting a drug raid in the area, flashing a silver badge on a chain, before asking them where the “people selling drugs” lived.

Forestal reportedly identified himself to police as a firefighter, a state representative and the nephew of the Marion County Sheriff during the incident.
