A Humble, Texas, teen has been arrested after he reportedly threatened to blow up the plane he was on in a Snapchat post.
17-year-old Hector Fonseca was at Bush Intercontinental Airport when he allegedly snapped an image of his shoes and shorts inside a terminal, along with the words “blown this sh*t up.” The snap also included a smiley face and bomb emoji. He then posted a second Snap before boarding the plane, saying “time to blow up the plane.”
The messages were reported to the FBI from Snapchat, but they were unable to act until Fonseca returned to the country from Guatemala. He has been charged with making terroristic threats.
