BREAKING: Reality TV Stars Indicted by Federal Grand Jury

A federal grand jury in Atlanta, Georgia, have indicted two “Chrisley Knows Best” stars on charges of federal tax evasion.

Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie, were indicted on 12 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion. Investigators say that from at least 2007 to around 2012, the couple “conspired to defraud numerous banks” by giving the banks false information and faked bank statements while applying for loans.

The two reportedly obtained millions of dollars worth of fraudulent loans and had tried to obstruct the efforts of the IRS to examine their taxes by “hiding income, lying to third parties about their tax returns, and – in Tarantino’s case – lying to FBI and IRS-CI Special Agents.”

The Chrisleys have denied all wrongdoing.
