A Sedgwick County, Kansas, sheriff’s deputy has reportedly disappeared after being named as a suspect in a child sexual abuse case.
Derick A. Chandler, 29, reportedly went missing yesterday and is wanted in a case investigated by Wellington police and the Summer County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement sources say that Chandler is accused of sex crimes involving a 13-year-old girl. Investigators believe he may be a danger to himself or to others.
Chandler was possibly seen early Monday morning in Wichita driving a white 2015 Dodge Charger with a black stripe that had a 60-day temporary tag.
