A man in Tampa, Florida, is being evaluated after he reportedly threatened to stab students at an elementary school.
The 22-year-old man, who has not been identified, reportedly told a roommate about wanting to get inside of the elementary school and to use a kitchen knife to stab student and staff. Crystal Clark, the chief communications officer for the sheriff’s office, said that the man “disliked the school because the exterior of the building is painted like an American flag and he has negative views of patriotism towards the United States.”
He has not been charged at this time, but is being medically evaluated. There is no threat to the school.
