At least one person was shot at a mosque near Oslo, Norway, according to AFP.
The incident happened Saturday when the gunman, who was reportedly armed with multiple weapons, entered the mosque in the Oslo suburb of Baerum, and opened fire, injuring a person before “being overpowered by an elderly worshipper and arrested,” police say.
AFP reports that a body of a woman related to the suspect was found in a home in the same area the shooting took place. Police are investigating her death as a murder.
The gunman was allegedly a younger white male who was dressed in black with a helmet and a bulletproof vest.
