Border Patrol Boat Shot at While Patrolling the Rio Grande in Texas

A U.S. Border Patrol boat reportedly came under fire from a Mexican riverbank while patrolling the Rio Grande in Texas.

Earlier this morning, the agents were reportedly patrolling the Rio Grande near Fronton, Texas, when they came under fire from the Mexican riverbank. Agents say that they saw four subjects with automatic weapons who shot over 50 rounds at them. No injuries were reported.

The incident is under investigation.
